This cold weather calls for a warm Strawberry Cobbler with ice cream on top, of course. HELLO strawberry season, I am here! I am so crazy about strawberries, especially strawberries grown in my home state! Strawberries are in season and Fresh From Florida’s strawberries are in stores now! Ready to go home with you and straight into this amazingly warm Strawberry Cobbler. I LOVE cobblers! These super fresh strawberries gave it such a magical touch. Have you noticed I’ve been baking lately!? This weather has been keeping me very close to the oven.

I was saying the other day that the lowest the temperature dropped here in Miami was 52 degrees. Some of you laughed and expressed how this is a walk in the park compared to your home state’s weather BUT let me just put on the table that we are freezing with 52 degrees weather and more importantly it’s been like this for more than one day! Yes! You heard me right! It’s been a few days with the weather in the low 50’s and I. Am. Loving. It. So. Much. This recipe came at the perfect time. A warm and sweet Strawberry Cobbler that will make you feel so good that you’ll probably eat it all by yourself!

I’m so proud to say that this recipe is using fresh strawberries from my home state. Fresh From Florida also has different foods, produce and seafood too! Always check for the Fresh From Florida label and you know where it’s coming from. I can’t even put into words how EASY and SIMPLE this recipe is, but I will try. Baking and I weren’t friends before. All the tantrums I’ve had in the kitchen over cookies being stone hard or a cake deflating, weren’t very pleasant, to say the least. Over time, I’ve realized that if I follow the instructions, it comes out great. If you are thinking “Ambar, were you not following the directions before? I don’t get it?” Well, no I wasn’t. I would say “it needs 5 more minutes in the oven” or “wow this doesn’t have enough milk, let me add more”.  I wanted to do it my way and of course, it would be a disaster. Follow the directions and accurate amount of ingredients and I promise you, you won’t have a problem baking ever again. Are you like me? Do you or did you add your own measurements or change the time of how long something should be baked? You are not alone. I am here. Lesson learned! and now I can make my own recipes by trial and error. Lots of errors.

This recipe? follow it exactly as is and I promise, it will be the best thing you have ever baked, add a scoop of ice-cream and you will be thanking me after. when you taste the fresh strawberries, ugh, you will want more. Don’t be afraid to add as many strawberries as possible, the more the better. For more recipes using Fresh From Florida, strawberries click here.
