People in South Florida, can you feel the heat!? Cause I sure can. WOW, it is hot. Summer came full throttle with vengeance! I’m not complaining because this only means that Fresh From Florida is booming with fresh produce for a…TACO PARTY! Honestly, if you are stuck, and don’t know what to cook for a party, TACOS saves the day. Each. Time. I wanted to have a taco party to kick off summer with my delicious Cheesy Creamy Corn recipe….
I am SO proud of this recipe and every time I make it, I kind of make everyone eat it. Literally. I’ll go around the party/get together mentioning how good it is and giving everyone an intense stare down to see if anyone goes to get some. Using Fresh From Florida’s extra sweet corn, this dish is nothing far from perfection. It is so easy to make and it’ll have your guest coming for more. The taco party was everything I wanted it to be. We had Fresh From Florida watermelon and sweet corn, which are both in season in Florida! The watermelon was so juicy and refreshing. I think everyone ate a watermelon before digging into the food!
All the colorful produce in the supermarkets screams out “COOK ME”. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see I’ve been going recipe crazy. I have been experimenting and cooking the same dish at least 3 times to get the right measurements. Save to say, with all this food, I might just have to hit the gym! Fresh From Florida saves the day because they have all the vegetables to help me make better recipe decisions. You can always count on Fresh From Florida when purchasing tomatoes, blueberries, bell peppers, mangoes and start fruit, which is in season right now in Florida. When you go to get your produce, food, and seafood, always look for the label Fresh From Florida!
Also, I just want to mention, I am so overwhelmed with all the love and support I receive for each recipe. I am LOVING connecting with so many people all over the world. This is the BEST part of having a food blog. Food brings us together, no matter where we are. I am so grateful for this experience and I will continue bringing it on in the kitchen to make your lives easier. In other words, THANK YOU
Now, enough mushy talk, let’s get to cooking!
